If there are dense ciliates in the fresh sample sea water,
then use the sample sea water as a specemen.
In case, if the density of ciliates are not enough high,
keep the sample sea water at about 20 C for a week under L/D=12/12
illumination, then some of them will grow and will become dense.
1:1 mixture with Bouin's fluid
50 ml Bouin's fixative could be mixed with the same amount
of sample sea water immediatelly.
Stay the mixture at least over night to get the well fixed
cells.
( Lower concentration of Bouin's fluid, which was mentioned
by Lynn (1992) as the use
of "concentrated Bouin's fluid", did not work well
in case of my specimens.)
